The Cape Town temperatures in the December winter month fall in the region of a minimum of 14.9 and a maximum of 24.9 degrees on average. After winter comes spring and the Cape Town climate warms with mean temperatures in March in the range of 14.2 to 25.4 degrees celcius. In June the summertime Cape Town temperature range is from an average low of 7.8 degrees to an average high of 18.1 degrees celcius. Average temperatures beging to fall in the autumn so that in September the Cape Town climate has records of mean temperatures of between 8.7 and 19.2 degrees low and high respectably.
The climate in Johannesburg in the winter is cool with mean temperatures in the night falling to 14.7 degrees in January. In the day time temperatures reach a maximum of 25.6 degrees. Later in the year temperatures in Johannesburg in April reach 21.1 degrees by day falling over night to 10.3 degrees celcius. In July the Johannesburg temperature is in the range of 4.1 and 16.7 degrees before the Johannesburg climate begins to cool in October when the mean maximum temp is just 23.8 degrees. At this time of the year the mean low temp is in the region of 11.2 degrees.
In the winter the mean Durban temperature for February has been recoreded to be on average in the range of 21.1 and 28 degrees celcius. Then in the spring time temperatures in Durban, South Africa record mean low values of 13.8 degrees and temp highs of 24.5 degrees celcius in the month of May. In summery August the average values for the Durban climate reach up to to from 12.5 to 22.8 degrees celcius and by the autumn mean temperatures tumble to the range of 18.3 and 25.2 degrees in November.
